THE BEST SHORT FILM in the @poffshorts National Competition Program is “The Weight of Light” ✨
We are incredibly happy and proud to contribute to society by addressing complex topics through the films we love to create!
In “The Weight of Light”, viewers are introduced to the hidden and untold stories of Indian women—stories that open old wounds and raise difficult questions. Through the lens of human trafficking on the dark web, these women’s stories become everyone’s stories, and “The Weight of Light” becomes a story for us all.
A HUGE THANK YOU to our entire team, collaborators, and supporters that made this film come alive!
You can still catch “The Weight of Light” in theaters, on November 22nd at 5:00 PM at @kino_artis in Tallinn and at 8:45 PM at @elektriteater.

Each of us can make a difference. Even the smallest act of kindness matters! A wonderful opportunity to contribute is through the NGO SBT Kishalaya Center (@salaambaalaktrustdelhi). We encourage you to support the education and self-expression of our young actresses in India through this organization dedicated to raising awareness about the prevention of child sexual abuse, we remind you that challenging topics can only be resolved if we talk about them.

Little Gods
Set in Allahabad, India by the confluence of three holy rivers are children living on the streets, who dress up as the Hindu gods and beg for money. They rely on the charity of worshipers from across India who travel there to bathe in the purifying waters and seek forgiveness. We are happy to share The Little Gods with you. The award winning documentary filmmaker and director Ram Devineni is partnering with Our House for another production that speaks to the core values that we share. We are currently in production and will be on location throughout 2025.
Our Mission
At House of TeeGee Productions, our core mission is to amplify underrepresented voices and bring powerful, untold stories to the global stage. We seek stories that transcend region, gender, class, and strata – these are all our stories. Some simple, some fantastical, some impossible, some plausible but all sharing our common emotional bond.
We believe that great storytelling has the power to transcend time and borders, spark dialogue, and foster greater understanding between cultures and bring about change. Our productions aim to shed light on diverse perspectives, exploring the depths of the human experience through an authentic, unflinching lens.
With an unwavering dedication to artistic integrity and social impact, we strive to create thought-provoking, emotionally resonant films that inspire audiences worldwide.
Our Work
These decisions, to tell stories with integrity and social impact, are reflected in the project choices we have made over the years. From being part of the team that brought out one of Bollywood’s first successful female-driven blockbusters in ‘Queen’ (2014) to being part of the conceptualization of the first brown-skinned female superhero character who is also a sexual assault survivor (The Power of Priya), we have always held our core beliefs close to our collective hearts.
We have also worked on projects that focus on the marginalized sections of the society like Weight of Light, an Estonian short film that looks at the proliferation of India-based child pornography rackets across Europe. We’re also proud to have brought you LSD 2, India’s first film with a transgender lead actor and character. With every new project, one of our main goals is to always stay aligned with our vision of telling untold stories of social relevance and impact.
Upcoming Work
With a focus on the various communities within the USA, we are developing a host of projects that relate to the experiences of members from Indo-Caribbean communities and the African diaspora living in America. We embody the spirit necessary to illuminate these stories with the respect and focus that they deserve. Stay up on our socials for more about upcoming project announcements.
